westsideschl Great story showing how families go about arranging marriages (finding a suitable male) for their daughters. Would have liked to have seen commentary on the ridiculously high costs to procure a husband and stage a marriage which as a percentage of income is much higher than in the Western world. Also would have liked to have seen what happens to the girls/women and their families when they don't get married. Would have liked to have been given some information on the high levels of abuse, divorce and subsequently being cast out with shame and no education into society. And, commentary on young girl arranged marriages.
