ash-39976 I don't rate movies but I use IMDb a lot before deciding to watch a movie. This is my first review because the injustice here was too much for me to bear. I like movies, so will give anything with a 6 or higher a shot. For the most part, the ratings on here are pretty good, not always (I triangulate with a few other sites before committing to a movie). Well this one was WAY OFF. I am glad I did not let the ratings and reviews dissuade me, because this is a great movie.If you like Paul Rudd (I am a big fan), don't mind Reese (I like her even more now), like Owen Wilson (yep), love Jack (who doesn't?) and loved Terms of Endearment and As Good as it Gets, you will NOT REGRET watching this movie. Enjoy.

A review helped me saying it's not actually a rom-com rather a romantic drama.If you're in a comedy mood then you'll be disappointed. Watch this movie as a drama. It has good pace in it, not too slow.I liked this movie very very much. This movie has genuine script which is very refreshing. Acting was good. Definitely Watchable movie.

fbabka Just a quick note simply because this movie has such a low rating. I watched it because Reese is in it expecting something rather lame according to IMDb but I give it a 9 out of 10 easily. It's an excellent film with great pace, even for such a long film, excellent acting and intelligent script. It's slightly predictable but what love story isn't?I totally do not understand the low rank on IMDb. Reese is super cute, even with her dorky smile with top jaw pulling out like an alien. ha ha. Will watch this again in the future. Hope this review helps someone make a small adjustment to making their afternoon matinée work. he he

z-itchy I found this movie (that's "film" for all you faux elites) well directed and unusually affecting. There was a real connection to the characters and their process of establishing a relationship. I was surprised by the acting of Reese and Owen. For Reese, I have not seen her every work but it is by far the most well acted. For Owen, it not easy to portray a genuinely vacant playboy - well done. This is definitely not your mass produced romantic comedy. The comedy is a bit low key but effective and helps keep you interested. The romance is subtle, much like the real thing in life. All of this is of course is my very humble opinion but I was very pleasantly surprised.
