Console best movie i've ever seen.
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Paul Magne Haakonsen If you enjoy stand-up comedy, then "Jim Jefferies: I Swear to God" is a show that is well worth sitting down to watch. The jokes that Jim Jefferies deliver here are funny, to the point and put out there with no wrapping, no cushioning, no boundaries and no concern. This is like a slap to the face, but Jim Jefferies does it so well. Despite the excessive amount of foul language and topics that could be considered offensive or disturbing by some, then Jim Jefferies do manage to deliver these with his Australian charm and accent in a manner that it becomes acceptable and funny.Jim Jefferies manages to get well around topics in this show, ranging from religion and racism to his own family and childhood, as well as from drugs and alcohol to sex and a moment of clarity for the handicapped. There is a lot of political incorrectness here and a lot of jokes below the belt. So some viewers may not just be suitable for this. Just a friendly word of warning.Lots of laughs here, great jokes, good punchlines, hilarious guy. And to summarize this; just watch the show.
henrysheat Jim is in deep need of prayer! God gave his only begotten son to save our souls.. In order to have your soul saved from sin you have to believe that Jesus is the son of God,ask him to forgive you for your sins and ask him into your heart to help you live a more Godly way!! If you chose to live another way your condemning your soul to be burned in hell for eternity...I'm a 40yr old man that has experienced many miracles from Jesus and am very thankful. To say the things that were said in this sick disgusting comedy act is condemning your soul to hell and having other idiots follow! We pray for you and others to see the light and someday meet Jesus in heaven and have a beautiful eternity that Jesus wants for you and has been crusified for!!
Urantia While watching this rented DVD, it didn't take me too long to realize that this comedian is an atheist who was openly declaring his personal belief that he is right and everyone else is wrong about there being no God (despite the fact that the non-existence of God has yet to be proved). Perhaps I should have tried to practice a little bit of tolerance and overlook a view that I respectfully disagree with in the hopes of experiencing the desired response of laughter to something else he may have said (on a different topic, of course). But I didn't. His anti-God remarks became the elephant in the room that I simply could not ignore.
jgrayson_au I absolutely loved this. Jim Jefferies could be reading my mind, because I to am Australian and an atheist, and Jim pulls no punches. If you are an atheist, or if you're a Christian but don't take it literally, you can probably watch it and enjoy it. He does also pick on other religions, but Christianity wears the brunt of it.However the religious humour dominates the first half. The second half works into a large story involving a specific sex act that I can't talk about on IMDb, but lets just say keep the kiddies elsewhere.I should also add that, being an Australia, Jim swears like an Australian. So if you don't like swearing I'd steer clear. As for the specific humour, the humour is "working class" and brutal, raw, in your face humour. As in, sexual abuse, physical abuse, child abuse, and so on become part of the jokes.Defiantly not for everyone. The jokes will potentially offend and the subject matter is taboo, but if you can get past it, it's incredibly funny.
