jackparr-11645 I'm not usually so cynical, at least not about movies, but this has got to be one of the worst movies I've seen, ever. My parents got this in a 4-Pk of family DVDs (which was £4 at Tesco), and we decided to watch it for movie night. It was even worse than I thought (and it already looked bad on the packaging). Everything that could be wrong with the movie was wrong.The characters are so unsubtly named. CHRIS, FAITH and HOPE?! Chris is obviously, so obviously, an abbreviation of Christian. And Faith and Hope? Faith and HOPE? Really?!The storyline was awful. The set was awful. The acting was awful. The filming was awful. The effects were awful. The themes were awful. The dialogue was awful. The music score was awful.My parents told me to shut up and give it a chance, but eventually even they said it was terrible.The special effects looked like they were made in the 70s, or by a 9-year-old kid in Microsoft Paint. I watched up until the part where they were in ElectroCity and after that I refused to watch it because it was just SO BAD. Luckily this meant I didn't waste as much time as the rest of my family, but I still lost a decent 45 minutes of my life.Even if it's available for free, DO NOT buy it, ever. It's a complete waste of time and money.The movie also packages itself as a sort of Narnia remake, which is extremely and evidently untrue. In fact, it's heinous to compare such a pile of manure to a series of fabulous fantasy films. The only similarity is that both films are based on novels by highly famous Christian writers.The only people who write good reviews for this on here are either obsessed Christians, were involved in the making of the film, trying to fox you into buying it or just total pot-heads.Conclusion?DO NOT BUY THIS MOVIE EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

James Touhey if its the Hollywood grade cgi or the incredible acting this film is by far the greatest film I've ever seen. after watching this film i truly found Jesus and found the strength to quit heroin. the fast pace action film that is the adventures of Chris fable is from start to finish an incredible work of art. 10/10 would bang again

e_farwell After spending the time that can never be recovered by watching this film, I can only hope that the MPAA will come up with a rating that will warn us. Awful is really too kind a category. Is there a sub-zero? I purchased the film because of the Christian theme with the intention of giving it to a relative who teaches a youth class at church. The premise that this movie would hold the attention of teens is probably correct in that it would give them a good laugh. There did seem to be a theme that followed "Pilgrim's Progress" and there were some interesting scenes, but the attempts at special effects and scenery so distracted you that the film became totally useless. I will not be donating this film to the church library!

mikou_3 Wow.... is all i gotta say. Look at all those positive reviews and the fact that its the only review most of the users have ever made. All the visual effects and scenery are breathtaking?? First thing that comes to mind is substance abuse when i read that other review. Never in my life have i seen a more poorly constructed movie. Its as if they just had a couple extra cameras lying about and some tall guy started juggling them and decided to make a movie out of the footage from it. This movie is beyond terrible, It seems to just defy words. How anyone could write that first review without breaking into laughter or wetting themselves (which i'm sure the publisher did on release) is beyond me. Since the advent of affordable hd camera equipment we seem to be getting a never ending barrage of crappy independent movies. This needs to stop and it needs to stop now before more people are hurt.
