Reviews

AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
lumbercicek It's just too long to tell this story.. I mean I don't have to know every detail.. so many times it's going out of the story line and becomes hard to grasp what the hell is going on...It is boring, classical and cliche
cricketbat This just goes to show that just because a film features Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy and Benedict Cumberbatch does not make it good. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy mumbles along for what seems like an eternity and makes espionage seem dreadfully dull. The moments of suspense or intrigue are few and far between and, frankly, not worth the wait. I'm surprised this is the movie that got Gary Oldman an acting nomination - he did fine, but this is far from his best performance.
Theresa.E I watched this because I love Gary Oldman. But I spent the entire movie wondering and rewinding and trying to figure out if maybe I should have read the book book first? Because I just could not keep up with what was current and what was past and who was who. And then the end credits came up. Wait...What?
katcoviello I love this movie. I have found that everyone in my household also loves this film. This includes people from the baby boomer generation, Gen X, and a teenager. The hazy, monochromatic tone and slow pace gradually draws you into another time and every time I watch it I discover new details, hints and clues that were previously missed. Yes, it is a little confusing the first time you watch it, but ride it out. Watch it again. I guarantee you'll grow an appreciation for it.
