Synopsis

Spaced: the anti-Friends, in that it examines the lives of common 20 somethings, but in a way that is more down to earth and realistic. Here we have Daisy and Tim; two 'young' adults with big dreams just trying to get by in this crazy world. They are thrown together in a common pursuit of tenancy, which they find by posing as a couple. The house has a landlady and an oddball artist living there. The series explores the ins and outs of London living.

Alicia I love this movie so much
BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
schf I used to watch spaced while living with an annoying friend who did not like it.I said "its a classic ,it will be well thought of for decades to come."He disagreed one of the reasons was how "NOW" it was . "This will be embarrassing to watch in a few years,"he said.I hate it when other people are right. When you take out the dated pop culture references to the matrix, buffy, resident evil and star wars your not actually left with much.Simon pegg's "acting" in particular is embarrassingly bad. What hasn't aged and still impresses me is the camera direction and the snazzy editing .This must be why Edgar wright went on to better things. This show still shines bright in my memories if not in actual reality any more
deadfoxtrip This show is freaking hilarious. The characters are all endearing, the plot is amazingly well crafted, and the jokes per episode number in the hundreds. My only gripe is that I wish they would have made more, and each one a little longer. This is a perfect series for people who are looking for something light-hearted, obscene, awesome, and artistic. The actors / actresses in this series really bring out the well written story of mid- 20's laggards, waiting for their big break in the cruel but real world. Perfect. This is a must-watch for anyone interested in comedy or drama. This show comes highly recommended by me and my social circle. I would encourage anyone who enjoys a good laugh to watch this show.
idleprimate I didn't see this show on its first run, although i remember friends telling me to watch it. i came later, tracing Simon Pegg's career.i dragged my feet thru the first season, and dint really fall into it til the second. but it is great fun, with so many sly nods and arched eyebrows, parodying so many things. i watch an episode, and laugh at the "in-joke" then look it up, and find there are half a dozen more in-jokes that i missed because i wasn't in on the pop-reference.lastly, this show draws me back, episode after episode because of Jessica Bynes. i kind of just fell in love with her, and had to keep watching.anyway, catch this show if you can, its a good laugh riot!
Syl I only saw one episode because I was on a plane. At first, I didn't like it but it grew on me about cartoonist who submitted the wrong picture to the man who can change his life forever. He has to get it before he sees it. Well remember the Mission Impossible scene where Tom Cruise has to break into the CIA but it's far more enjoyable and there are laughs along the way. The cast is unfamiliar to me personally. I don't get much newer British comedies in America but I think Simon Pegg does a wonderful job as does the other cast members. It's kind of quirky and silly but really enjoyable. I think Simon Pegg goes over the edge regarding the show's comedic appeal. It's not so much about Spaced as it is about average ordinary life in London and the characters who wish they were anything but ordinary and average.
