SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

sweetieliz-995-998981 I did not really know what to expect when I started watching this from the new season. I thought I might not like the characters however as I got to know the characters further on I really liked how the show was developing. I felt like the difficult situations in some of the episodes were very heartfelt and touching. I understand other's reviews to this complaining about the scenery but some of the best stories do not have high tech and detailed scenery and you have to leave it to the imagination and see past all of that to the story lines. I am definitely interested in seeing more of what comes to these characters! I loved the different situations and I loved how this show really has depth in its characters and it runs with showing the personal growth of them as well.

Andrew Goss Season one was an unexpected delight. Instead of the expected race based comedy we saw a proper drama in an interesting location. How accurate is it? I don't know, and I don't care, this is a fictional drama, it is mainly about people and circumstances, not about accents and the colour of buses. The strong points of season one have been retained, and it looks like the writers have gone for extended plot lines, leaving us asking "how will that play out?' at the end of each episode. This is not gritty, challenging, or taboo-busting, but it does leave one thinking, which puts it well ahead of the enjoyable but trivial "Death in Paradise".

Bennettskaya The acting is very good and the direction allows the actors time to show complex emotions. Without it, the series would be ordinary fare. Well, the beauty of the setting helps.And the switch back and forth between different scenes in different places - very nicely done - the emotion ramped up in one setting, then a switch to the other setting and we can breathe out. Cleverly and sympathetically done.

fnewyork To be perfectly fair, I was very excited at the beginning of the film and 5mins into the story and a few Dutch Colonial Houses and a Red Sri Lankan bus this was a dead give away! No big deal; but why say its India? Did the producers think they would get a bigger audience! I think the Indian community would be just as offended as the Sri Lankan community for this mischaracterization! A total lack of integrity on the par of the ITV producers.The film appears to be shot mostly in the South Coast of Sri Lanka. Galle, Matara Tangalle or some where in that region....Sorry. but very disappointing.WZ
