Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
Paynbob It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
craig1615 I've been watching Reed and following and his crew for years, first in the TV series Storm Chasers, now with their new self produced series Tornado Chasers. The Chasers part of the titles is descriptive, but, it does not describe the amount of tornado research that is also accomplished on their chases. The team members are not just thrill seekers they are dedicated researchers, first responders and often the first to warn of a tornado. Both series are excellent. If you like seeing tornadoes and severe weather this is the show for you. His custom Dominator vehicles chase and position themselves to be struck directly by tornadoes. It is quite a rush for the viewer and the Dominator teams. Reed is a very dedicated professional, he will often describe how the tornadoes are forming and how he predicts where the best intercepts will be, he is seldom wrong. Reed uses some of the latest technology from drones to rocket launchers. They also are equipped to give aid to tornado victims and will often be the first people on the scene of a tornado strike. Like I said if you enjoy storms this is very likely the show for you. Reed's website is http://tvnweather.com/ check it out lots to see and read there. As a side note you can see Tim Samaras in the Storm Chasers series, a highly dedicated engineer and storm chaser, who after many years of storm chasing and tornado research was tragically killed along with his son Paul and team member Carl Young chasing a tornado near El Reno Oklahoma. marcusfilmsinc As a long time producer for several television series, I would like to make a few comments. Most of these chart-busting "10" reviews were solicited off of Reed Timmer's Facebook account. This is way the ratings are overinflated and do not offer an honest critique. This entire review should be pulled from IMDb.This production is based on tracking extreme weather. During years like 2014, drought conditions have all but eliminated subject matter. A producer is now faced with filling in the blanks with some sort of entertaining footage. Reed's crew is not all that entertaining apart from bad weather. In fact, they are as boring as a loaf of bread. This is why the original Storm Chasers was canceled. Reed's attempts to capture an intelligent audience by his claims of saving humanity with hobby shop rockets is hilarious. Only someone with a second grade education should fall for such pranks. Really Reed? You need to look in the mirror buddy, you look silly. Sorry, I'm just being honest. This production does not have the legs to carry it any further and it should RIP.Marcus Las Vegas, NW Film Crew and Production Manager
Cold417 I was a bit late getting into the Discovery series Storm Chasers, so there wasn't much of a gap left when I saw that they were producing Tornado Chasers. I've survived two tornadoes personally (last one was a nightmare) and love weather related shows that show people that haven't experienced this weather phenomenon what it's like at ground zero. You'll be entertained and educated by this series. Truly a world-class production...and I only hope that season 3 is as good as season 2. Reed is always entertaining and energetic and makes you feel like you're in the hot seat with their team. I also really enjoyed the behind-the-scenes and slow chase day footage that gives you insight into what it really takes to be a chaser and to bring this type of content to the masses. +1 for a series that does not pander to the docu-drama BS that network executives think the public wants.
simon-sirko I bought this series from tvnweather web page as soon as i saw that Reed Timmer is in! He is the best tornado chaser, very professional. He has awesome crew with him, and this makes this series very interesting. Everything is so spontaneous and comes out very exciting. It is also very interesting to watch this Dominator vehicles, how are they made, what equipment they have and how they work. With not much money at the beginning they made awesome and very watchable show. Reed is the master of his work! They also have live stream from the Dominators and we can watch live where are they chasing and what is going on. Through this show, we can see what are tornadoes capable of and this show helps us better understand this beautiful but very dangerous phenomenon.
