Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
justinhayman-47295 I thoroughly enjoyed this combination documentary and fiction. The perfect blending of both. It was not at all slow. But it did slowly unfold the sad and tragic murder of Eric's father. My final thoughts watching this was that Eric and his brother (the only living ones now) should be extremely proud of their father who found himself in way too deep but held his integrity above all else.
portakalim_gunay Errol Morris tells us the story in his unique, delightful and exquisite way. How can even somebody so elegantly harmonize poetry, Shekaspeare, CIA and Olson Family's life after Frank Olson's death. About Eric Olson, I guess words can only do harms. Such a brilliant and perceptive mind! The way he perceives the world is unprecedented. I can say that I have never seen such a connection capacity as Eric Olson has. How can he connect X and Y in a way that hits the nail right on the head in a poetric way. Collage would be the answer!
jacquelinewrite I can't recommend this film highly enough. It fully engrossed me. The hybrid of drama and documentary served the story in a organic and mind blowing way. The documentary story of a man digging for the truth about his father and the effect that that search for truth has had on his life while the dramatization of his fathers story unfolds was powerful and painfully thought provoking. The cinematography and the production design were breath taking! Peter Sarsgaard's performance was award worthy -- his performance broke my heart. Man. Errol Morris has delivered a film like nothing I have seen before. And his unique way of telling this story does not serve him as a director but rather the story -- the complexity of shots and hybrid story telling is organic and sincere.
balazsjason If you happened to enjoy the tidbit of the "Cinema of the unsettling", shown by The Office's Gabe Lewis, then you'll like this. It's not for me. Steer clear.
