Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

fancrow i loved this movie. Christian bale played his part as well as could be done. This is the story of a boy who's mind is steadied with a love for living things and a mysterious man who lives out in the woods by himself who's work was saving the animals. he joins the man in his constant battle against the carelessness of humans and how they don't care who or what they hurt so long as it does not directly affect them. when his stepfather finds out about his life in the woods away from man kind he kills the man and attempts to kill his stepson. when the stepfather himself is killed bobby (bale) is free and he continues the rest of his life doing the 'work' saving the animals. this movie touched me in the heart because it is something that opens your eyes to the world around you. i think this is especially a good movie for those about to be able to drive so they can be taught the perils the road brings to other creatures

sizzle63 I've been a fan of Christian Bale almost 6 years, and this film just once again proves how great (and cute!) an actor he is. The movie itself is also great, but when I watched it it was on t.v. and I missed the first 30 minutes of it. John Hurt was also wonderful in it. Btw, is he that old guy who gave Harry the wand in the first Harry Potter? It's such a touching story of how a mentally disabled young man, Bobby (Bale) runs away and befriends an old man, Mr. Sommers (Hurt). Together, they bury roadkill because Mr. Sommers believes that all living beings should be treated equally. All in all, I recommend this movie to everyone.:)

Broadway Baby If you like heart warming movies, see All the Little Animals. It is about a sweet boy named Bobby who is left with his evil step-father after his mother dies. His step-father treats him like an idiot, when really Bobby is just a very tender boy. Bobby finally comes to his senses and escapes into the wilderness, meeting an old animal lover whom he calles Mr. Summers. I won't tell you any more, SEE THE MOVIE!!!

Jay Harris It has been said that you can take the simplest of stories & with some great performances you can have a magnificent film.\ This is the case here,Our young hero Bobby. enacted by Christian Bale;(a future Oscar winner I hope) is a slightly disabled young man who has to escape from his mean & cruel step-father superbly done by Daniel Benzali. Our Bobby runs into Mr Summers magnificently enacted by John Hurt. The rest of the plot concerns Bobby's growing up.& the eventual comeuppance of his step dad,The film was made on the Isle of man, What a beautiful area. The scenery is magnificent. I highly recommend this.
