Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Cristal The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Cheri Elizabeth What can I say about this film? Everything about it was terrible, from the wretched overacting to the senseless plot. The main character, Maggie, goes from scene to scene doing and saying things that have absolutely nothing to do with anything that's happened in the movie. The ending answers nothing, so if you are like me and need to finish what you started just to see what happens...just don't.What's the significance of the phone?? I've never seen a couple go from hot to cold so fast and repeatedly. Why is the spare room locked? The musical score seems to be off, why the dramatic crescendo for nothing? If you're going to a certain place just to make a phone call, how do you forget your phone? Baptism, really??I could go on, but I'm exhausted from all the eye rolling.
Joe Morris The characters are erratic. One minute they love each other madly, the next, they hate each other for no reason. There's no reason to not meet the next door neighbors and ask them about the phone the wife keeps hearing, yet no one bothers to meet the people living in the same house (duplex), even to say hello. He shows her how to start a generator for power at night, yet refused to let her actually start it, and he starts it instead, giving her a hateful attitude. She hears the next door neighbors arguing, and she runs down stairs and out the door. The neighbor speed away in his car, and she implores her now awake husband to chase him in his truck...for no apparent reason. Skip it.
gavin6942 After a family tragedy in the chaotic city, Chris and Maggie Conley, in a last-ditch effort to save their dying marriage, purchase an isolated home in the deepest woods, to which they quickly discover evil has a key. What do we have? A great looking picture, solid acting and plenty of atmosphere. And for what it's worth, the poster is wonderfully designed. So nice to see something artistic and not the same old tropes. The film is a bit of what you might call the "slow burn", not really picking up until about 53 minutes in (and then creating tension by using music derivative of ABC's "Lost" before slowing back down).Director David Mun has a long list of credits going back to 2001, mostly in technical categories (lighting and electrical). This is actually his directing debut, which makes it even more impressive.
petarmatic For a low budget this film came out, well OK.I would love to write about the plot and all of that but I do not have the strength, I saw it so many times before. When movies were made so many times already, how can we write anything about a film we saw so many times before just in a little different package.Since I have to fill my 10 lines I will say that I liked the actress which carried the main role. She really tried hard the poor thing.I do not know what else to add about this film.If you have nothing better to do you can watch this film.If you have something better to do do not watch this film.
