Synopsis

As host of his own hit TV series, 'MAN VS', Doug Woods is forced to fend for himself for five days in remote locations with no crew, food, or water, only the cameras he carries on his back to film his experiences. Doug's in the remote woods for a routine episode, until he's awoken by an earth-shaking crash. Things get weirder as it becomes clear Doug isn't alone. Someone or something is watching him.

ThiefHott Too much of everything
SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
samlamanna I thought that the movie was really cool how the thing that was stalking him was copying everything that he did, and I think this movie is very underrated. It was interesting how he was a TV show host and was a survival expert. I really liked it, until all the tension and buildup of the thing stalking him turned out to be some crappy CGI alien thing. I thought that this movie could've been one of the best I've ever seen if the thing stalking him was a crazy guy who has killed anybody who entered the woods. The whole alien thing really ruined it for me and the ending was disappointing, but I still say that you should give it a try and watch it.
antonganttjr Definitely a cross between Bear Grylls and Predator, but you could probably make that conclusion from the synopsis alone. I was definitely into the movie until the CGI. There is a good chance that I would have been more satisfied with traditional effects like makeup, prosthetics, a mask, or just a guy in a suit.
mason mackey I won't retell the story-line, it's covered in the other reviews and on the page I just wanted to say I enjoyed the effort by the lead actor Chris Diamantopoulos, he deserves more high profile work, the movie was well acted and shot, if they had gone more practical with the effects it would have been much better and earned an eight or nine from me, but worth a watch
thisseatofmars Man Vs. is a Canadian horror movie that incorporates elements of found footage. It does this via its plot: Chris Diamantopoulos, who played Moe in the 2012 version of The Three Stooges (oh baby) has a reality TV show like Bear Grill-is-us (never seen it and can't be bothered to look up the actual spelling). He treks out into the wilderness and videos himself scraping the soot off of tree bark to use as toilet paper, foraging for nuts and berries, and hunting wascally wabbits. By and by he realizes that he's not alone in the woods and all that soot-scraping will not go to waste. It's a good movie except for its creature effects, which are CG. Have we learned nothing from Predator, you fools?! Makeup and animatronics always beat CG, always! (Whaps film with cane.) But the creature doesn't show up so often, so I guess it's kind of okay. Man Vs. is laptop-viewing quality on an insomnia night, yknowwhatimsayin? And it's Canadian, so ding-ding-ding A+ dood!
