And after it does, Sandler's brilliant portrayal of this eerie character sets the bar and expectations higher which unfortunately feature never catches up. Steven Brill's world doesn't stay true to its tone resulting onto a loosely placed execution that may get better on some aspects but it still isn't saying a lot. The feature doesn't quite find its place between comic sequences and high pitched drama ones failing completely on walking the central line of it. Sandy Wexler might be a beautiful love letter by Adam Sandler on performance level but it needed a lot better editing, execution and plot line to make its way up there.

Shaune Bordere Sandy Wexler is one of the most underrated comedies of 2017. The diverse cast of Grammy Award winning musicians and award winning actors is delightful. Adam Sandler's creativity is undeniable in this fun loving story. Jennifer Hudson is playful and whimsical opposite Sandler in their daring interracial relationship. Sandler takes risks that very few screenwriters are willing to take in this Conservative era of race baiting. Sandy Wexler could certainly have been a major box office success, and it's a streaming treasure. It's highly recommended to Jennifer Hudson fans and Kevin James fans alike. There are so many stars in this comedic amalgam who are very rarely seen together.

Farhan Akram Well I opened IMDb.COM to see whats new in Adam Sandler's page and I found Sandy Wexler, Downloaded right away and watched till the very end and wondered if this movie deserved a comedy genre? A total disappointment for me, I expected a 2 hours of nonstop laughter but it never happened. Wasted my time. Please do not waste yours.
