Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
JinRoz For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
zandalasini The sounds of children wailing and screaming is tedious and enough to make you want to turn off this film and get yourself sterilised! Acting is good in places but the foley and after dubbing is plain painful, I wanted to invest myself in this film but could not. Dire!
Páiric O'Corráin The Children (2008): British horror at its best and most gruesome. Two families, four adults, a teenager and four young children spend xmas together in an isolated farmhouse. One of the children becomes ill, then all four start acting strangely. "Accidents" occur culminating in a fatal "accident" for one of the adults. Then the children really turn homicidal. It is at least suggested that this is due to a virus. This is an adult film, violent and disturbing. Not for the fainthearted.
marcdavid-26974 I wanted to like this movie more than I did. Just seems like I've seen this plot before somewhere. And why oh why do evil kids in movies always sport huge dark bags under their eyes?
wildblueyonder Like so many bad movies, it starts off OK.. visually at times its interesting, but it just does not come together. There could, IMO, be a lot to say in this plot, but the movie just does not deliver. Still, kept me waiting.. there was some suspense.
