Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Plantiana Yawn. Poorly Filmed Snooze Fest.
Grimerlana Plenty to Like, Plenty to Dislike
Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
leethomas-11621 Gripping in the repulsiveness of its main characters. Not inconceivable that this sort of thing really happens in Britain. Horrific if so. A sort of upper-set Lord Of The Flies.
Leftbanker If you want to see where America is heading this film will help you see the way. The grotesque British class system was something that always horrified me as a child and I was glad to have grown up in a much more egalitarian America, at least where I lived in the middle of the country. I'd say that we aren't too far from another civil war to check the rampant gutting of our middle class by the richest few. If these "elites" are allowed to govern our world unchallenged then god help us.I had a hard time watching this as I found all of the boys to be despicable and loathsome. After the incident with the innkeeper the one boy said that he didn't do anything. Yes, you did. You stood by and watched as your friends beat an innocent man almost to death, a total freaking coward and almost as bad as the others.
mccarthyos This film is often difficult to sit through, so effective it is in showing us how badly sections of the British upper classes behave at University and beyond. It is based upon one or two similar clubs which exist in Britain today; and from which are eventually drawn some of the top people in the UK.The behavior of these boys is given free reign because of a sense of entitlement with no serious consequences. These young men will get away with their self-indulgences and go on to successful careers, aided and abetted by the old boy's networks who ensure it.For these reasons this excellent film is deeply depressing.
stephaniereid Disgusting, vile, and with no moral code. As a woman I found this a horrendous watch. The subject matter of RAPE can not be justified by any cinematic standards. This director needs to take a few classes with Quentin Tarantio, in order to understand how to get a message across without totally disturbing the audience. Sadistic and uncalled for, belongs in the bin which is exactly where I put it :)Do yourself a favour and don't even bother, and if you have a girlfriend...I suggest this isn't a couples watch unless you want her to be very upset. No more to say other than that the writer should be pure ashamed of themselves and also this should be graded 18!!!
