Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
spmcginnis4210 If Jim Carry had not done this first you would have a 10/10 for Neil. I can't watch this and not pick it apart (Jim would have killed this or that) in the event that Jim takes this series over...the series wouldn't be so unfortunate. It used to be unfortunately excellent...
Mayank Agarwal Among the best series for kids out there even though it's a Black Comedy, very different from anything else you have seen. I loved watching it with my 9 & 12-year-old nephews. More focused towards the young crowd but does have something for the adults too with its hilarious over the top plots in an illogical world. The plot revolves around Count Olaf trying to steal a fortune from Baudelaire orphans after their parents perish in a fire. It's a treat to watch them save themselves with their intellect and Count Olaf cooking up new schemes to get it. The adults in this world are outrageously dumb. The casting and their performance cannot be more perfect. Neil Patrick Harris is amazing with the various disguises and accents he pulls off. Malina Weissman and Louis Hynes are outstanding as Violet and Klaus. The unique narration style by Patrick Warburton has its own sophisticated charm. The makeup & music is the best there is on the small screen. I am really looking forward to Season Three. The review is for both Season One & Two.
claudiaraesherman Neil Patrick Harris did a fair job but Jim Carey would have been fabulous in this show. I couldn't understand why they had to have the narration in between. It really took away from the show. Too bad.
iamtheuf The entire show is cringe-worthy. I don't know what it's trying to be, but there's no drama, suspense, or comedy.
