BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

m-buckle Wow. This show is something else. The writing & acting is so real it is sometimes maddening, as life with multiple teenagers can be. But the beauty is as intense as the tension. Just when you think you want to slap the ungreateful teens for giving their mum such a hard time, you remember that this is what teenagers are like, we all had these moments of acting this way. And when they have those pure moments where the guards are down & they can express their love & appreciation for their Mum, the amazing Pam Adlon... it moves me to tears. I really hope this brilliant & beautiful show is not hurt by Louis CK's shitty actions. Pam gives me life!

redinnelson I forced myself to watch the first season but could only do so by bumping through the annoying parts. The scenes with the daughters and their grandmother were wonderful for the most part. Pam Adlon after the second episode of the first season is intolerable. Or she is the way she presents herself. She must have a very guilty conscience if she thinks of herself in this way. I'm on the third episode of the second season and if I do continue watching it is only because of the performances of the actors playing her daughters and mother.

saralbuchanan-88704 I just found this series after watching an interview with Louis CK on a late night talk show. So, I thought I'd check it out.I watched all the available episodes back to back and, like another reviewer, I hardly ever binge watch anything. This was excellent through and through. Well written, REAL, moving, honest, and sweet.This scenario is spot on for many single mothers, like myself. I laughed, and I cried a lot. But mostly, I'm grateful that someone is finally hitting the real deal about single parenting. My kids are adults now, however, this show has given me an opportunity to reflect-- the good, the bad, and ugly.In the same manner that I don't binge watch TV shows, I also have never written a review about a TV show. I felt compelled to reach out and say thank you to everyone involved with the show -- most especially the writers and producers.

sendkaup I really like this Show, but something has bothered me about one episode.... Was it my imagination,or did I hear Sam tell one of her daughter's friends, having to put out (BJ)on a date was better than staying at home...? I played it over a few times to see if I heard it wrong. Kind of lost me with that one.
