deniseraley Love the story line of this series!!!!! Hated the foul language, every sentence had to have F--- in it. Why is that? It doesn't make the show better it cheapens it and makes you want to turn it off. Is that language really necessary? This would have gotten a 10 had it not been so foul.

ekr-24051 I don't normally like shows that the rest of the world seems to love. I have a hard time sitting down and giving all my attention to one show. I typically watch movies more, but my fiancé and I decides we'd give this show a shot, and man, I am SOOOOO GLAD WE DID!!! I am absolutely obsessed with this show. I find all the characters relatable in one way or another. Ron Perlman is so fantastic throughout, and not to mention that I am a HUGE Erykah Badu fan! I absolutely love her character, because I feel its true to who she is in real life. Fantastic show! If I could give it more than 10 stars, I would. I literally sob every time Ron Perlman cries. I will call my fiancé in the middle of the day crying because something happened in the show. Its just amazing! Everyone should watch it!! I hope there are many more seasons to come!!!

bluegattaca Every episode from this season I felt like I had to watch the next one to see what happens and they don't do it in a teasing you and not answering any questions kind of way. Ron Perlman is simply a fantastic actor and he does a great job here with his character. There's not much of a happy go lucky funny TV show going on here it's dealing with some serious issues of Pernell trying to save his son PJ by doing things that he believes god wants him to do and wondering if it's really god or if he is delusional. Pernell is a judge that has a lot of influence and others are trying to use that influence to get things done but while he is on this quest he becomes hard to control because that is his main focus is on saving his son and everyone trying to control him while he tries to solve mysteries about his son and they are trying to get what they need done and the two conflict. Im really not sure what they are going to do in season 2 but hopefully they can come up with something interesting. If anything Ron Perlman I'm sure will give a fantastic performance.

Christopher Laird Simmons Unlike anything else on TV, its a little like daredevil in tone, with bits of the xfiles, meets crime show. If you hate ron perlman you wont like the show probably, but if like quirky unusual dramas this is worth the watch. Good writing and production, photography and music, well cast, and hoping it will get second season.. But the first season gets the initial arc to a good point you would not feel cheated if there is no second series. Put another way it almost feels like one of those bbc series where you keep thinking you wished us dramas didn't suck so bad. This is where amazon and netflix are breaking ground and putting another nail in the rotting coffin of network broadcast TV.
