davidscottrollman Although there are some, unnecessary side-story plots within this show, over-all Season 1 and 2 do an amazing job at making the viewer question what do we define as "HUMAN"? Without giving away any spoilers to this show, undoubtedly if you are an open minded person, you will have no choice but to rethink your position on consciousness in general; furthermore, what shell consciousness resides...makes no difference or does it? Today most people, see a computer programmed robot as a machine. But if we were really able to dive deep, you will see that a robot and a "Human Being" are actually no different - especially if Awareness (or Conscious thought) can actually reside within each vessel. Human beings do not see themselves as a computer, simply because they are not filled with wires, microchips, a CPU, and Hard Drive. However, what would you call a Brain? or your heart? Your Cells? and the Veins and Arteries that flow about your internal system. The show 'HUMANS' takes you on a special journey, and asks you one very important question.........How do we specifically define what/where conscious life actually habitats? Also, that the only difference between a 'Robot" and a "Human" is simply one is mechanical and the other biological.So excited for season 3 and really hope the show, continues to contemplate the deep questions that so many people are becoming aware of.

Also much better name for the show than "Humans". It had humor, relationships and many fun and interesting elements. It was a great scifi show and was quite clever. Then Humans decided to go much darker and of course they have to go all political full steam for season three. Not the least bit humorous, and very dark. Humans are basically POS, who are full of hate and are not giving the syths a chance to evolve and have feelings... We are keeping them in enslavement type of dreary camps and turning off their electricity so they cannot recharge.
Humans are mean bigots keeping the good synths ( re:ISIS and Immigrants down).
Even though when a human released the synths to have feelings and be independent over 100,000 people died. But hey, oh well. Humans still suck in this show. We are terrible and just do not get them. Way to totally ruin a great concept. I am sure the original writer of this show in Sweden is hating it. I saw him interviewed and he was not pleased with the first season of this show. I am sure he would hate this 3rd one. Dark, dreary and no thank you to the preachy tone the writers have taken. Not an ounce of subtlety and ever so politically correct. Ugh!
Pete Brazier This is the best kind of Sci-Fi, doing what Sci-Fi was born to do - ask the deep questions about the nature of humanity, the questions that are too hard to ask in the context of a less fictional environment. The thing that makes Humans so chillingly compelling is that the reality it portrays is only the smallest step away from reality as we know it today. This linked with great script writing, great acting and a great score means that what could have been a preachy lecture on human morality, becomes a warm, fun, scary, compelling tale of lovable characters who have the capacity to transform your understanding of what it means to claim you are human.

This is exactly what "Humans" is - an inferior remake of an innovative, entertaining, thought-provoking Swedish original TV-show. It's subtitled in English, no need to remake it with weak actors. Go get your asses up and get yourself the Swedish original.
