Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Mehdi Hoffman There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Jim Armstrong (pettyfog) The only reason I can think of for this show being really bland and tiresome is the writers have no imagination.
sadak7599 I began to watch this show because I was in a show-hole. So, I found this show and decided to give it a try. Good points: - Lighthearted tone. - Beautiful city. - The Celtic rock music.Bad points: - awful acting. They try hard but... I think the worst is the main character. He is trying to be funny with a "Martin Riggs" vibe, failing miserably. The best is his father. - Cliché after cliché. All characters and situations are clichés. - Too bland and light. Shallow characters, not a bit of darkness, dark humor, gray tones. Too happy and colorful with very kind characters. - low budget looking - Not enough funny for a comedy, not enough exciting for a detective's show, not enough smart for a "smart private detective" show. - Uninteresting and boring stories.
emmetlang-42622 How did Canadians put up with this for 6 years? Holy Crap! Is there any cliché that isn't used in this first episode? Every character is a cliché, every situation is a cliché, every relationship is a cliché, and every line of dialog is horribly clichéd. Ugh! If this were made in the '70s, you might say it was original, or at least a light hearted ripoff of the PI shows of the day. But this is absolute warmed over drivel.
sad-29014 but....the Des guy, they have him so corny it ruins it. Really.......it's annoying. I feel like he's a male version of the Eva Gabor character on Green Acres. I usually try to fast forward past him. I like all the other players. I like the story line. They went way overboard on the stupid act.
