Synopsis

Almost 2,000 years ago, the final book of the Bible, Revelation, predicted that Christ would return but only after a period of chaos and torment inflicted on the world to test the faith of mankind. REVELATION: THE END OF DAYS is a gripping, dramatic interpretation of how the ancient prophecies of The Book of Revelation could unfold in our modern world. The two-night, four-hour event brings to life six fictional characters’ firsthand accounts of the “End of Days” events. REVELATION: THE END OF DAYS merges drama with re-purposed real news archive to thrust a group of fictional characters into an imagining of the Apocalypse. The program follows the dramatic stories of a TV reporter, a police officer, a doctor, a scientist and a college professor as they deal with chaos, war, earthquakes and a deadly pandemic.

HomeyTao For having a relatively low budget, the film's style and overall art direction are immensely impressive.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
dec201953 The story is more than an inspired production based on the prophecies contained in the Book of Revelations, it describes events in sequential order as contained in the Bible. If you view it as a science fiction action thriller then you may be disappointed by some of the technical flaws and pitfalls described in other reviews. Watch it objectively and compare what you see with what is described in scripture. Surprisingly or not, the events described are actually based on widely accepted interpretations of symbolism contained in the final book of the Bible. The footage criticized by other reviewers is actually quite effective in conveying predicted chaos and widespread unrest that scripture says will affect the entire world. In the end, it's worth watching.
chughett57 I thought this movie was well done. I believe the idea behind viewing it through the camera eye was for reality, not as a movie one would go watch at a theater. Really wish there was more to it though. More in depth. Some scenes were too short, Making me want more, which is one of the reasons I watched it twice before showing it to others. Everyone I know who has watched it, really enjoyed it. My clients watched it through my Kindle. Being a hairstylist, I see at least four to six clients a day. At times it was a bit herky jerky, but still riveting for me. They want me to write ten lines to submit. Can't think of anything else to say. I would buy it.
John Beck This seems like it was purposely produced to warn us of what is coming. You will find that Christians are the worst critics of it. "It got this wrong, it got that wrong," etc. The majority of Christians today are in false churches and are obsessed with SELF. They consider themselves all knowing and all seeing when in fact they are enabling the coming of the Antichrist. This movie wasn't perfect - the ending for instance was a huge letdown, but hey it was just the last five minutes of the film. Everything else concerning the portrayed events is really already going on in one form or another. The persecution of Christians in America is well on it's way; we have a tyrannical president who promised hope and delivered hell; the military buildup with weapons returning from war in the Middle East is already happening. Also loved how they interpreted the booms and trumpet noises as being harbingers of the last days - something that is really going on and in the news everyday and many of believe they ARE signs. They used real footage of actual events throughout the movie - even getting in the house-to-house raids in Boston after the bombing. Maybe all the so-called Christian critics didn't recognize that much footage was taken from real life. They were too busy hating. The whole idea of government created pandemics, disposing of the elderly and infirmed - that's already here too, though not on the mass scale portrayed in the movie -- but we're getting there. This movie was awesome! Yes I hated the shaky camera "Blair Witch Project" cinematography, but maybe - just maybe - that will be the appeal to the younger people who live as quickly and shakily as the camera angles in this digital age. It's coming folks; and regardless of who tries to pick apart the scripture presented in the movie - most of it was pretty accurate. They left out the false prophet and the Pope etc., but hey - it wasn't perfect. It was, however, a prophetic warning delivered to the people to wake them up. Let's hope it will get through to some people and the the Christians don't ruin it for everyone or impede other's salvation by continually dissing this movie. And by the way, people who have not watched an entire movie should not, IMHO, write a review. That's like turning in your book report after the first chapter.
DrabMac I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to do a story on Revelation without ever reading the Bible but that's what we've got here. Someone picked up a Bible and ripped a few verses screaming and bleeding out of context and tried to weave a humanistic interpretation of how Revelations should be told. The "anti-Christ" supposedly kills himself or is shot by his own forces and "Jesus" supposedly returns in some unseen way and doesn't even show Himself, let alone stay and set up His millennial kingdom. In the end we're left to believe that "man" starts to make things better, slowly, for himself. It's the same pure humanistic, anti-God drivel that I've come to expect from these channels. Four wasted hours of my life that I'll never get back... what a joke, and truly sad for a World that deserves to know the truth of Jesus' return at the end of days!
