Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Tayloriona Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
fannyhunterx I Personally love the Inbetweeners it's hilarious!! But watching this you can tell its the same story but with girls but the acting is just unbearable! I watched a couple of episodes but couldn't stand it in the slightest! This is for simple minded people with no good sense of humor Everything about it is terrible, I do not have a good word to say about it at all. Wouldn't even consider watching this if it was the only thing on television.I honestly don't understand how this show is still running into a third series and what's harder to believe is that people actually enjoy this? The story lines are just garbage but the acting is worse. Just goes to show anyone can be famous!!
torikus ffj 22 year old girl here. Just read through some of the reviews and I was surprised to see the negativity! I watched this show initially with my boyfriend and his mates in the heart of Coventry who all love the inbetweeners. I personally have not watched it, however all of us agreed that Some Girls was actually really good... and that the best bit was the acting. The character development is ace, which is why the dry humour works so well. I can't fault the script either. I like shows that pay attention to detail and visually some girls ticks that box. All characters are relatable... its not crazy like skins but for an educated London 2nd gen immigrant girl who has lived in council flats her whole life going to school in your low end inner city secondary and who had friends similar to Holli, Amber, Saz and Viva, this show sure does bring back memories. I also think its aimed at a younger audience, maybe 15-20. It's a great laid back show to watch that'll have you smiling all the way through.
ninjaduck72 The story line within itself is really really bad. I've watched over 4 episodes to get a well rounded judgement on it, I can't believe people actually consider this a film which you can watch. It is a replica of the Inbetweeners where the Blonde girl is comparable to Neil, which she is not. The first episode is based on some girl who want's to lose her virginity, while the other ones already have lost their virginity, later on the episode 3 of them admit that they were virgins as well. The blonde girl was the only one who had sex just like in the inbetweeners where Neil got some and Simon, Will and Jay were virgins. The blonde girl is a sluttish chavvy character who is not remotely funny... One of the characters brother is a perverted freak who masturbates under a table and then touches his food. This show is by far the most despicable show I've witnessed on BBC3, I'll tell you this now... Do not watch the SHOW!!
Jonathan Knapp Comparisons to The Inbetweeners are inevitable, as the series follows four sixth-formers who talk about sex a fair bit, and one of them's a bit simple. However, it keeps the grossest of its humour (which doesn't hit anything near the worst of the Rudge Park boys' adventures) contained in the dialogue, and really the funniest moments are pure character. Brilliant performances from all four leads make it hard to pick a favourite. Whenever a joke might lag, the girls stay utterly committed and keep the entertainment levels high. Supporting actors are strong too as well, with Colin Salmon, Dolly Wells and Jassa Ahluwalia all giving memorable turns. Hopefully everyone will be back for the second series.
