Synopsis

Created by Robin Steele and Brianne Leary, Stickin' Around is a Canadian animated children's television series from Nelvana, which originally aired on YTV in Canada and on ABC in Australia. In Latin America, it was broadcast by Nickelodeon under the title Los Grafitos. It was also aired in the United States on the Fox Family Channel from 1998 to 1999 as part of the series The Three Friends & Jerry, which was adapted on that channel as an anthology series. The show, which originated as a series of 1-minute vignettes on CBS in 1994, is about two children named Stacy and Bradley, their hand-drawn adventures with their friends and family, and their fantasies. Stacy and Bradley, best friends, encounter many problems they must face as they continue to grow up - if it is with school, bullies, friends, and parents. They always come up with imaginative ideas to eliminate these obstacles, such as becoming a superhero, and putting themselves in a different environment where they have no trouble in defeating their enemies. According to Nelvana, it uses the "advanced computer graphics of "Boiler Paint," virtually convincing us that kids are creating their own animated series." The show won the Gemini Award for "Best Animated Program or Series" in the spring of 1998, while being nominated once again during the fall of 1998, for the Gemini of the same award.

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
WasAnnon Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
browncoat2417 I had just gotten home from the hospital after a bout of pneumonia and I was parked in front of the TV with my niece and there was nothing on but Daytime TV garbage and I wound up on the Qubo channel and a squiggly looking cartoon dealing with a battle with vomit zombies. We just sat glued to the TV for the next hour laughing our heads off.We were both hooked and every day at 3pm it' son whether she's there or not. It's one of those rare kid shows (in the states at least) that also has things for adults in it as well.My Niece now also has a pretty mean Stacy impersonation and the whole "Uranus" Schtick has become a running gag with us to disrupt family gatherings and those that take things too seriously. It's done by Nelvana studios and if you want to see some more of their brilliantly absurd shows, try Ned's Newt, Grossology (Which airs at dinner time here but doesn't stop us from watching it) and Being Ian.
helmutlord If kids shows were actors, this show would be Johnny Depp. A cut above the rest. The jokes were crazy, fast paced, hilarious and frequent. The plots were imaginative and absurd. The haphazard, child-like style was masterfully used to further the feeling of unpredictability.I think this show is more enjoyable than Fairly Odd Parents, and on par with Fillmore, which is quite a statement.I watched it until I was 15 when it was canceled, and still thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone younger who didn't like this show needs to loosen up.
atomius I must say that i would rate this animated show 7/10. Very enjoyable. So, the characters look like they were drawn by a two year old, the point is that the comedy is hilarious. Nice use of colour to portray every day scenes. Any person can relate to the characters, and i think the voices are done excellently. I sure hope that they make another series. The characters themselves are very well made. I love he theme song too. The scenes are very realistic too. The school building looks like a real school unlike some animations like "The Simpsons". It follows the lives of a group of children and some adult humanoids. All in all i think it's a great filler of spare time that any network should have.
wishkah7 What kind of cheap animation was this? I saw this cartoon once on a Saturday morning while I was waiting for my friends to come pick me up to go to the mall. I have to say that this is the absolute worst piece of rubbish (since The Simpsons) I have seen in my life! The animation was all a bunch of cheaply drawn stick figures and the characters were all, as Richard Pryor would say, "null, dull, and void"! Stickin' Around was a celluloid piece of animated trash! Just look at the title, itself. A 6 year old would hate this! The kids in the cartoon acted like the usual smart-alleck kid on a sit-com. Of course, there were also the antagonist bullies. There was just nothing good about this, no humor, no in depth storyline, even the dialogue was lame. Sometimes I wonder if this cartoon was really unpopular with kids at the time it was out.Don't get me started on that character 'Dill'. What were they thinking? And when I looked this show up, I learned it actually had 2 seasons! This crap makes Beavis and Butthead look funny! Well, at least this cartoon is totally forgotten into oblivion.
