Hottoceame The Age of Commercialism
VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Derry Herrera Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
Mithila Madawa Most comedy cartoon TV series in 60's. Classic & simple drawing image cartoon. 20th century famous cartoon for children.
Ibuk I adore The Flintstones, loved it as a child and love it as an adult. The plot is relatively simple, it deals with neighbours and best friends, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble and their wives, Wilma and Betty. In a way Fred and Barney are like an old married couple, they fall out in almost every episode yet they end up calling a truce towards the end only to fall out in the next episode. What really works for the show is Fred and Barney's different personalities, Fred is hot tempered one but ultimately good at heart whilst Barney is the easy going comedian(his wisecracks provide some of Flintstones best comedy moments). They live in the Stone age but they still have appliances we have nowadays, only they're run by an animal of some kind. For instance the shower would be operated by a elephant. It started of with just The Flintstones and the Rubbles but as the seasons went on the family started to get bigger and bigger, The Flintstones had a baby girl called Pebbles whilst the Rubbles adopted a boy called Bamm Bamm. In the last season another character was introduced called the Great Gazoo. The Flintstones for me will never get boring and I will continue to love the show.
FilmBuff1994 The Flinstones is a fantastic cartoon made from the genius minds of Hanna Barbera and this is them at their very best. Its about the Prehistoric adventures of Fred Flinstone and Barney Rubble as they get up to their usual schemes and try to keep it a secret from their wives Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble, they also have a pet dinosaur called Dino and in later episodes of the series Fred and Wilma have a baby called Pebbles and Barney and Betty have a baby called BAM-BAM! The Flinstones is a fantastic cartoon and its without a doubt Hanna Barbera at their best.*****5/5 STARS.
Angelus2 I wouldn't have thought about writing a comment for this cartoon simply because its been ages since I watched an episode, but after walking into a cousins house I noticed that my youngest cousin was watching the Flintstones and singing along to the song. So I have recollected all the wonderful memories of my childhood. The cartoon itself is based on a citizen of Bedrock named Fred Flintstone who we follow through the endless adventures that he has with friend Barney Gumble. The show has great kid humour and considering that it was produced in 1960 it still holds up against any of the crap thats on TV today.I loved how the writers incorporated the cave man lifestyle with modern day advances, the mammoth that operates as the shower, the cars that run by human power.....Pure genius.
