Synopsis

The Mighty Boosh is a British comedy television show created by Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding and others. The Mighty Boosh is a comic fantasy containing humour and pop-culture references. Episodes often featured elaborate musical numbers in different genres, such as electro, heavy metal, funk, and rap. The show has been known for popularising a style called "crimping"; short a cappella songs which are present throughout all three series. Julian Barratt wrote the music within the show, and performs it with Noel Fielding. Fielding also designed many of the show's graphics and artwork. The TV series has many animated sequences, puppets and special effects. Barratt has said that he approached Fielding with the idea of doing a show like The Goodies, as if it were a complete "world" rather than simply a sketch show. Barratt and Fielding play many of the recurring and one-off characters themselves, with other characters being played by other Boosh members Rich Fulcher, Dave Brown, and Michael Fielding.

SoftInloveRox Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
ShangLuda Admirable film.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Tim Corrigan I don't know how on Earth they did it—though the best minds in UK comedy were assembled on their creative team: Episodes seem to bend time somehow, leaving me feeling like I've been entertained for twice the length of the actual play time. Simply sublime, and superb.
Ve111 This is such a beautiful show. So witty, so deep, a cascade of creative settings and dialogues. The interactions between the characters feels fresh, like something not seen before, an inside jokeof sorts. If you are lucky enough not to have seen it, enjoy! Was thinking what else to say with my remaining lines without giving any spoilers away...the mighty boosh for me is about adventure and magic, and reminds me a lot of the cartoon show adventure time. It also has glimpses of flight of the conchords. Yet ultimately, there are some scenes that just stand in a class of their own. The episodes get progressively better and they all contain an original angle.
Filmlover7375900 This TV show follows the exploits of Jazz-fan Howard Moon, Fashion guru Vince Noir, Gorilla Bollo and Shaman Naboo. In total there is twenty episodes (eight in the first series, six in the second and third). The first series takes place in zoo, the second in a flat and the third in a shop called Nabootique, which is owned by Naboo. Due to the changing of the setting for every series, the show keeps fresh and entertaining. My personal favourite episodes would be 'Hitcher' (series 1), 'Nannageddon' (series 2) and 'Eels' ( series 3).This TV show is surreal and is not everyone cup of tea, there is also plenty of rude humour thrown into the mix, which is the reason for its 15 rating here in the UK. To give an example of the surrealism on show, there is a talking and moving ball of bubble gum called Gary in one episode. Apart from this not quite being everyones cup of tea, I can't recommend this show enough. THANK YOU JULIAN BARRET AND NOEL FIELDING FOR CREATING A HIGHLY ORIGINAL AND ENTERTAINING SHOW.
Joofus When I first heard the premise of the Mighty Boosh, I'll admit; I was skeptical. It sounded too zany, too weird, and, above all, just too spacey to be funny.God, was I wrong. The Mighty Boosh is certainly one of the funniest TV programs I have ever seen in my life. It's on par with Monty Python, and almost touches the talent of the god that is Eddie Izzard. Noel Fielding (Vince) and Julian Barratt (Howard) are comedic geniuses with perfect timing, and some of the worst taste in jokes. But hey, it's funny as hell, and halfway through the first episode I was splitting my sides laughing. The other characters (namely Bob Fossil, and Naboo) are fantastic. Unlike in other popular shows, they only add more rather than making it too complicated. So far, I'd say that the second season of the show was by far the funniest. The Tale of Milky Joe and and the Old Gregg episodes will have you in stitches. I haven't finished the third season yet, but what I've seen has been made of pure win.Buy the DVDs, go to the live show, or find it online; this show cannot be missed.
