Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

This is a terrific show to binge watch on a weekend. It's a good show.
Monique Bell First of all, I am torn. In the beginning I couldn't stand Katherine, but, in the second season, I wanted Katherine and John to get back together. I say this because I realize that Denise is an air headed, selfish, little girl. She wants John's shop more than she loves him. I truly believe that Katherine is best for him. Furthermore, I MUST say that, as a fan of Downton Abbey, I've come to love this show so much more. I feel that there's so much more complexity to this story. Sucky part is that this show is over :( As much as the second season is stressing me out because of Denise's innocuous behavior, I wish I could have more and more of this show. RIVOTING!!!!
Blake Turner A surprisingly great story coming from the BBC, I find this simple story of the "First" Dept. Store to quite fulfilling. The actors are fantastic and portray the characters perfectly. I love the small street vibe that this show gives (Even though I wish it showed more of the City). The intricate relationships between employees and how they tie into the store is also very good...Unfortunately the show lacks quite a bit of subtlety. Things that should be less obvious are slammed right into your face. It can get a little overwhelming when the 2nd season begins and new characters are introduced. I wish this could have been aired in the U.S. and advertised better.
atamotua-654-93784 witty, moving, adorable, suspenseful, intriguing, and the list goes on... hats off... pun intended... I simply stumbled upon this series by just randomly clicking on my Netflix pages... This show had me from the first few scenes... the amazing music, the place/setting, and people... then as it progressed, the plots, the conversations, the atmosphere, etc... you really have something good to learn from this... good brain and heart food... i was watching the screen, but i could feel it, smell it, touch it... very captivating... I really wish there were more shows like this... or that this one would never end... I did not really want to say much about this show because I simply just want you to try it and see how good it is for yourself, without too much of my input on it (but i'm forced to enter at least 10 lines) I'm in love...
