kourvarasg Nothing more that wasting your time to watch a B movie. Slow action, poor performances, low budget action sceens. Not much to tell about the mixup of the writers' fantasies. Nothing to do with the original story, just an excuse of airing 6 hours of film. Greatly dissapointed (obviously)

nastasesorin Had so much potential...but as you advance in the series you literally feel like torturing everyone who was involved in this production. I also somehow managed to get till the end, but really do not recommend it! Long, stretched episodes, terribly bad logic, stupid mistakes all over.Better settle for a book or movie!

MattClayton92 The series is well-made with good production values. Some of the dialogue and themes can be on the nose, but it actually does a good job of showing why characters made the decisions they did. What I liked best about it is that, unlike other adaptions, is mostly faithful to the original story. Some of the criticisms other people are giving it seem quite petty. This is a mythical story set in a mythical time in Greece, and therefore anachronisms are irrelevant. It's also easy to look past the colour-blind casting because everyone is Greek and so race and skin colour are irrelevant to the story and characters. The story is what's important and the story is the same as in the Iliad.

danefabri Fantastic portrayal of Troy. A slow burn but well cast and brilliant performances all round. Warning: it's a drama, not balls to the wall action (some scenes are still quite epic though). Hope they do the Odyssey next!
