Actuakers One of my all time favorites.

Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.

Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

allovernorth It was good! Good action and no plot holes (from what I could tell).

eldrimezini I'm going to start with the good aspects of this film.First the star actor was Antonio Banderas who is a legend.The fight scenes were very good and some parts of the films were interesing.Also sometimes dialoges and quotes were great.Now the bad things...The plot in most of the time was predictible and boring.The film has a slow pace that is mediocre.And you can say that this film was "cheap".This movie is the same(not in plot) with the Security another movie played by Antonio Banderas.The movie is not bad but is not good and Antonio Banderas doesn't deserve this.

bettycjung 2/17/18. It was ok, not exactly original. I like Banderas and it was lot for him to take on such a vigorous role in his mid-50s. If you like get-even movies, then this one's for you.

Wavester Not sure why I see a lot of negativity concerning this movie. I found it very interesting and I liked the action. Yeah, I could have done without the "silent" aspect of it, and a few oddities (Urban's character talking & helping the man he hates) but overall the action was good and a decent story. To give you an idea, I was already checking if there was going to be a "Acts Of Vengeance 2". To me Banderas should do another, they story can already be laid out with the ending of this movie, and make the movie that much better. Hey there is a John Wick 2 (and 3) and an Equalizer 2, why not a AOV2 :-)
