BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

msghall Great movie until you realize it's another 'it was all just a dream' cheats. Too many of these movies throughout history make you feel like you've been ripped off because the author lacks the imagination to resolve the film with a well-devised ending. Cheap gimmick spoils what could have been - and should have been - a quality film. Sad.

Queen_The real me I started this movie with no expectations. but eventually as the movie progressed, i found myself in a trance like LITERALLY, i was unable to move, cuz of the shock and the gripping anticipation. i couldnt take my eyes of the screen.I am indeed impressed with the cast. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Antonio Banderas both really pulled off the roles. Its been a while since i have been suspense-filled and couldn't guess the actual ending of the movie. THUMBS UP.I highly recommend Black butterfly to my fellow movie maniacs. What a watch!Enjoy!

TheHaratashi . This movie had so much potential. It had great acting from the beginning. Johnathan Meyers was fantastic in so many ways. The production was great the story was great. The story was great because even though Jack was set up to look like a killer sort of psycho, he kept referring back to Antonio's writing, so I had several possibilities in mind as to what could be the plot.But, the ending was the cheapest writing trick in the world - the ol' "It was all a dream" trick. I hate that cop out technique and that kind of story whether a film or book will get the lowest rating from me every single time.

Ajdaho When you had good actors and pretty good story, its hard to make mistake, but director of this movie was managed it. I m not sure what is the worst, directing or editing? I had a feeling the director and the editor were in some argue when they making the movie. So, when I saw reviews from other users I cant believe that was the same movie. Conclusion is: You can freely skip this movie. :(
