lillinfields I'm a huge sci-fi and dystopic future nerd so I love this show! And Karl Urban is fantastic in it! I wish it would have been continued but alas it was a Fox network show. I can't recommend this show enough!

Apparently there was too much information that some of the head honchos thought it likely people wouldn't jump on board.Wish they'd bring it back
Shopaholic35 I actually really enjoy this show. The first episode was a little so-so but every episode since has greatly improved which has turned it into a solid show. Unfortunately as they cancelled this show after only one season it's time will be short-lived. I would still recommend viewers watch it though as it has a great premise, talented actors and has the excitement factor.Almost Human is set in a robotic future with plenty of cool Sci-Fi gadgets frequently used. So it's perfect for any tech geeks. One thing that could be a plus or minus is the lack of romantic relationships. Luckily they explore personal dynamics through the bromance between the two main characters which does provide a human backstory. Over time I would have expected this aspect to be developed so people could feel engaged with the characters.It's hard to feel invested but Almost Human is definitely worth watching.
andy-kay So Almost Human appears to have been cancelled.. I loved the first series, unfortunately it appears not to have been picked up for a second. A great shame - had potential and loved the numerous fond nods to Bladerunner. It's a shame because Almost Human is better than most of the recent cop / buddy shows currently on TV. The production values were high, the effects were generally movie quality and it had enough humour going on to break up the by the numbers procedural cop stuff. It appears Almost Human is destined to join the ranks of one season wonders like Firefly and Police Squad - maybe not an all time classic but still worth watching.
